Terms of Service
Last updated: July 16, 2026
Agreement
These terms govern your use of the instore platform — including instoreinc.com/map, the instore membership and QR loyalty program, and related services — operated by instore Technologies, Inc. (“instore,” “we,” “us”). By using these services, you agree to these terms.
What instore provides
instore operates instoreinc.com/map, a store-discovery tool that shows real-time in-store availability, and an instore-wide membership program. Members receive a digital membership pass with a QR code that participating store associates can scan to identify you, view items you have saved online, and apply loyalty rewards.
instore is not a purchase, order, or fulfillment service. No payment is processed through instore for membership or map use. No delivery or pickup order is created. Loyalty points have no cash value outside of redemption at participating merchants as described below.
instore membership
When you sign up through instoreinc.com/map or enroll in the membership program, you receive an instore-wide membership account tied to your email address. Your account includes a unique membership code and a digital membership pass accessible at instoreinc.com/m. The pass displays your name, membership tier, points balance, and a QR code.
Your membership is instore-wide — one account works across all participating merchants. By enrolling, you agree that instore may store your name, email, phone number, and shopping activity (such as products you view or save) to operate the membership program and improve your in-store experience.
Show your membership pass QR code to a store associate at a participating location. When scanned, the associate can view your membership profile, points balance, and items you have saved online so they can help you on the sales floor. Keep your pass private — anyone with access to your QR code or membership URL can view the public information on your pass.
Loyalty points and rewards
instore members earn points through qualifying activities at participating merchants, such as signing up and making purchases. Points are displayed alongside an equivalent dollar value (100 points = $1.00) for convenience. Points have no cash value and are not transferable, refundable, or redeemable for cash.
Points may be redeemed for discounts or rewards at participating merchant locations, subject to each merchant's participation and the earn and redeem rules in effect at the time of redemption. instore and participating merchants may adjust earn rates, redemption values, tier thresholds, and program rules at any time. Points may expire after a period of inactivity as communicated in program updates.
Membership tiers (such as Member, Insider, and VIP) reflect your engagement with the program and may unlock additional benefits at participating merchants. Tier status and benefits are determined by instore and may change.
instore reserves the right to audit accounts, reverse fraudulent or erroneous point transactions, suspend or terminate memberships, and void points obtained through abuse of the program.
Hold-to-try reservations (where enabled)
At some participating merchants, instore may offer an optional hold-to-try feature on product pages. Where available, this lets you request that a store temporarily hold a product for you to try in person. A hold is not a purchase and does not obligate you to buy. Holds expire after the time window set by the merchant. You should visit the store within the hold period.
Hold-to-try is not available at every store and is not required to use the map or membership program.
SMS program terms
instore sends transactional SMS only — not marketing or promotional offers. Message and data rates may apply. Messages are sent through A2P 10DLC registered campaigns in compliance with carrier requirements and CTIA guidelines.
Account login. When you request a one-time login code with your phone number on instoreinc.com, we send a short verification SMS so you can access your membership account. By requesting a code, you consent to receive that message.
Hold-to-try (where enabled). If you place a reservation at a merchant that offers hold-to-try, we may send SMS about that hold (confirmation, status updates, reminders, and release). By providing your phone number during the reservation process, you consent to those messages. Consent is not required as a condition of any purchase. Frequency varies with reservation activity (typically a few messages per hold).
To stop receiving SMS from instore, reply STOP to any message. You may also contact info@instoreinc.com. After opting out, further messages generally stop unless you later request a login code or place a new reservation and provide consent again as disclosed at that time.
A short carrier-facing summary is also published at instoreinc.com/sms.
Availability
instore services are available in select areas where participating merchants operate. We do not guarantee availability in all regions. Inventory data is refreshed periodically and may not reflect real-time changes at all times.
Intellectual property
The instore name, platform, and associated technology are the property of instore Technologies, Inc. You may not use the instore name or branding without written permission.
Limitation of liability
instore is provided as-is. We are not liable for inventory inaccuracies, expired holds, loyalty point disputes, merchant redemption decisions, or any loss arising from use of the platform. Our liability is limited to the fees paid for the service, if any.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted at this URL. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
